Brothers,

I am pleased to announce a contest seeking new fraternal music for our province. The purpose of the contest is to provide our province at least three new songs for four part men's chorus and to give our membership an opportunity to share their talents with the province.

The contest is open to all collegiate members in province 20 and submissions will be accepted until November 1, 2009. John Williams, Province Music Director, will chair the selection committee. The committee will be responsible for reviewing all pieces and selecting the top three. The three best will receive monetary compensation as follows:

$125 for first place
$75 for second place
$50 for third place

The first place winner will also have their piece premiered at the 2010 Province 20 workshop. All three winners will have their submission recommended to Lyrecrest for inclusion in any future revisions for the fraternal songbook.
